Zoom Integration Guide
This page explains how to add (install), use, and remove (uninstall) the Zoom integration for the AI phone reception service "kaketoku".
1. Overview
The kaketoku Zoom integration reads the list of phone numbers (Zoom Phone) held by your Zoom account, together with their assignments, and uses this information for phone number management and operator-transfer configuration within kaketoku.
- The integration requests read-only access to Zoom Phone number information only. The exact permissions (OAuth scopes) are displayed on Zoom's consent screen when you connect.
- It does not access call content, meeting content, chat, recordings, or any data other than phone number information.
- For details on how we handle the information we obtain, see our Privacy Policy.
2. Prerequisites
You will need:
- A kaketoku administrator account
- A Zoom account with administrator privileges (required to approve and install the app)
- A Zoom account with Zoom Phone enabled
3. Adding the Integration (Install)
- Sign in to kaketoku with an administrator account.
- Open "Settings" → "Integrations" and click the "Connect" button for Zoom.
- When the Zoom sign-in screen appears, sign in with your Zoom administrator account.
- Zoom's consent screen shows the permissions kaketoku requests (read-only access to phone number information). Review them and click "Allow".
- You will be returned to kaketoku's settings screen. When the connection status shows "Connected", the integration is complete and the initial sync of the phone number catalog starts automatically.
4. Using the Integration
Once connected, the following features are available:
- Phone number catalog sync: the list of phone numbers held by your Zoom account, with each number's assignment (assignee name, extension, queue name, etc.), is synced to kaketoku.
- Transfer configuration: synced phone numbers can be set as transfer destinations when the AI hands a call over to a human operator.
- Sync runs automatically on a regular schedule. You can also trigger a manual re-sync from kaketoku's settings screen.
5. Removing the Integration (Uninstall)
You can disconnect from either kaketoku or Zoom.
5.1 Disconnecting from kaketoku
- Sign in to kaketoku with an administrator account.
- Open "Settings" → "Integrations" and click "Disconnect" for Zoom.
- Click "Disconnect" in the confirmation dialog to complete the removal.
5.2 Removing from the Zoom App Marketplace
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace (marketplace.zoom.us) with your Zoom administrator account.
- Open "Manage" → "Added Apps".
- Find the kaketoku app and click "Remove".
5.3 Data Handling After Removal
- When the integration is disconnected, we delete the stored credentials (OAuth tokens) and revoke kaketoku's access on the Zoom side. kaketoku will no longer access any Zoom information.
- If you would like the synced phone number catalog deleted as well, contact our support desk (support@kaketoku.com). We will verify the request and delete the data.
6. Troubleshooting
- Cannot click "Allow" on the consent screen: your Zoom account may lack administrator privileges. Ask your Zoom administrator to approve the app.
- Phone numbers are not syncing: confirm that Zoom Phone is enabled on your Zoom account and that phone numbers are assigned, then trigger a manual re-sync from kaketoku's settings screen.
- Connection status shows "Error": disconnect the integration and connect again. If the problem persists, contact our support desk.
